Select Three Gets Its Big Break from Bon Jovi

KQRS Radio and Bon Jovi have given Minneapolis-based band Select Three the opportunity to open for Bon Jovi at the Xcel Energy Center April 7th, 2010 at 7:30 P.M.

    SHAKOPEE, MN, April 09, 2010 /Internet Radio and Podcasting PR News/ -- Select Three won 1st place in the KQRS Radio "BIG BREAK" contest and will be opening for Bon Jovi on Wednesday, April 7th, 2010 at 7:30 P.M.

Bands from all over Minnesota and Wisconsin submitted entries to the contest. In order to qualify for the competition, you had to submit a bio about the band, information about its members, a list of venues the band has performed, a music video, and two original songs. A panel of judges from KQRS picked their favorites and then Bon Jovi's management company picked the eight finalists.

The band's photo, bio and two original songs were posted on the KQRS website. Listeners were instructed to go to the website, listen to each band, and then vote for their favorite.

It was announced Friday April 2, that Select Three had captured the most votes! Select Three will be performing in front of an estimated 20,000 people at Bon Jovi's sold out concert at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

Select Three plan to perform music off their self-titled CD and debut three new songs they are currently recording in the studio.
